Shri Mukesh Garg, Member, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission, brings with him more than three decades of distinguished legal practice and institutional experience.

Born on 6th November 1962 in Jagadhri, he completed his schooling from Khizrabad and graduated in Commerce in 1983 from Agrasen College Jagadhari. He obtained his LL.B. degree in 1986 from Kurukshetra University.

He commenced his professional journey as an Advocate in 1986 and practiced law at Jagadhri Court until 2021. Over the course of his career, he conducted a wide spectrum of civil, criminal, and other important matters. He appeared in several notable cases of national , international, and state importance.

In recognition of his professional excellence, Shri Garg was appointed as a member of the Haryana State Law Commission in 2021, where he contributed to legal research, reforms, and policy recommendations.

On 2nd February 2024, he assumed office as Member, Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission. With his rich legal acumen and long-standing professional experience, Shri Garg continues to contribute towards strengthening regulatory frameworks and safeguarding consumer interests in the electricity sector.
