    An Electrical Engineer and other staff assist the Electricity Ombudsman in discharging its function and duties.
  3. The procedure followed in the decision-making process including channels of supervision and accountability
    The procedures followed in the decision-making process are derived from Regulation no. HERC/02/2004 (Guidelines for Establishment of Forum for Redressal of Grievances of the Consumers and Electricity Ombudsman Regulations, 2004)View Document(150 Kb).
  4. The norms set by it for the discharge of its functions

    The office of Electricity Ombudsman receives the appeals from the aggrieved parties and thereafter Electricity Ombudsman fixes the hearings for the appeals and pronounces the awards on the basis of the merits of the case.     After receiving the appeals the Electricity Ombudsman gives hearing to the parties concerned and there after passes the award.
